Granted, warm bread will stay fairly warm on its own just by covering it up, but the warming stone does help out a good bit. The cloth is just fine, although white might be preferred by some individuals.
The basket itself appears to be more plastic than wicker, but it's a nice basket. The finish is pretty slick and has a shine to it. As for size, I consider it almost perfect for a family of four. It will store about 4-5 large rolls or 5-7 average-sized rolls. You can fill the basket more if you use another cloth napkin that is bigger or combine two. For this price point, I consider it to be a very good buy.
