It is super easy to control and handles a variety of tasks well, from slicing through the chewiest breads to the juiciest tomatos. Just be careful. This thing is so eager to cut it can cause some damage if you are timid with a knife (or not paying attention). I liked it so much I went out and bought the 10" Chef's knife, which is also awesome.
